My name is Vic. My home is located about sixty miles from Seattle. Two cats, Morris and Ebony, and the puppy, Kristi allow me to live here as long as I care for them. One of my first passions is writing, so I am a full time freelance writer (my dream job). Another passion is creating ideas that make money work for me. That way I can sit back, sip lattes and know those little dollars are out there slaving on my behalf. I also like to hike, boat, play Zelda, sudoku, and work logic puzzles. Through the years and lots of mistakes, some of them more than once, I’ve learned the art of stretching dollars and where and where not to invest them. This includes how to survive in today’s economic whirlwind of insecurities. I currently hold investments in real estate, the stock market, gold, precious gems, and antiques. I do like the excitement of taking investment risks, but I also like to eat so I have a personal formula for determining what chances to take and when. By the way, I have a BS in microbiology. What does that have to do with finance? Absolutely nothing, but I thought I would throw it in to impress you. I have, however been formally trained in real estate investing and have helped investors build wealth in that market. The rest of my training has come from research, finding the right advisors, and punting. Punting always terrifies me, but hey, how else are you going to know if something is going to succeed. Think pet rock. I hope you find “The Irreverent Guide to Money” enjoyable and helpful.
